Congratulations to former Southern Tier Admiral graduate of 2000 birth year class on being drafted recently into the NHL.

The Columbus Blue Jackets recently selected Tyler Angle in Round 7, 212nd overall.

Tyler is a 5'10" centerman who was the 114th pick overall in Round 6, in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft by the Windsor Spitfires.
He made that team as a 16 year old had has not looked back. During his first two seasons with Windsor he scored 12 goals with 9 assists to give him 21 points combined for those two years. This past season now in his third year he scored 20 times while adding 24 assists to give him 44 points.
Although he had very little conversation with the Columbus Blue Jackets he was under their scouts eyes this past season has he was impressing them more and more as the season went on.

Tyler is hoping he can add Heart and Grit to the Blue Jackets.
