Riding to support the cure for cancer
Submitted By Kevin Yochim on Saturday, June 23, 2018
Aaron Gross, our Risk Management Director, participating in a 400 km ride to raise funds to support pediatric cancer.

From September 18th and 21st I will cycle 400 kilometers through the Golden Horseshoe Region to raise money to fight pediatric cancer, as part of the Cops for Cancer 'Tour de Golden Horseshoe'.

Cops for Cancer events occur across Canada. The Niagara Regional Police Service is partnering with other local Law Enforcement partners in the Tour de Golden Horseshoe, with a goal to raise $130,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. My personal goal is to raise $3,000.

All money raised will help fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research and support programs. It will assist in improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal!

Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against pediatric cancer and you can help kids like the ones in the attached videos.

Thanks in advance for your support!
